INCREASE IN COLLEGE GRANT MONEY NOT ENOUGH TO COVER INCREASE IN COLLEGE TUITION.
College grants cover less and less of the costs of college tuition. Students have no choice but to look for student loans if they want to get an education. Solid information is desperately needed.

/Post Graduate News Articles/ - November 21, 2007 - The increase in education grants has only covered one-third of the increase in private college tuition and half the increases at public four-year schools. According to grantsforonlineeducation.com President Emma Richards, desperation among students is growing, particularly among freshmen and those graduating from high school during the 2007-2008 school year.

"With the house market collapsing, parents are staring at huge mortgage debts," Richards said. "Students, who want to attend college, will have to find their own grants and student loans to cover the increasing tuition bills."

With the increase in importance of grants and student loans, more and more kids will apply for financial aid. The competition will be fierce. A lot will depend on how well child and parent(s) are prepared to fight this battle for money. As a result the need for information is in high demand. The better the preparation, the better the chance to get the education financed. Whether applying for grants for education or student loans, knowledge is power. With the future of a child at steak it is well worth the time.
