Dr. David L. Tucker continues to hone expertise in communications after 35 years of professional success

ROCKY RIVER, OH, June 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. David L. Tucker, Literacy Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of consulting.

With professional experience that spans over 35 years, Dr. Tucker specializes in literacy consulting, offering professional development services for students, teachers and administrators in reading, writing and literacy education. In addition, he writes for businesses and proofreads their brochures, manuals and directions, and supports clients with the consumer perspective. Dr. Tucker, a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award from Illinois State University, credits his success to his knowledge, perseverance, and his ability to relate and communicate with people.

In 1974, Dr. Tucker received his Ph.D. in Reading and Writing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the International Reading Association and the Council for Exceptional Children. In the future, he aspires to improve the reading and writing skills of inmates and get more involved in re-entry programs for their transition into the society.
