Dade Medical College Hires New CFO Gressett
Dade Medical College's new CFO is Chris Gressett, effective as of August 3. Gressett most recently held the position of Vice President of Finance for Florida Career College and was previously CFO for Jet Turbine Service, Inc.

MIAMI, FL, August 13, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dade Medical College's new CFO is Chris Gressett, effective as of August 3. Gressett most recently held the position of Vice President of Finance for Florida Career College and was previously CFO for Jet Turbine Service, Inc. All in all he brings more than 20 years of broad experience in finance, accounting and business administration. Chris will be based out of the Corporate Office in Miami and will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial aid departments.

Gressett, a graduate of the University of Florida with a Masters in Business Administration, is originally from Jacksonville, FL and is married with a seven-year-old daughter. He's also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dade Medical College was founded in 1999 as a vocational medical institute teaching diagnostic ultrasound. The main campus is located at 3721-1 NW 7th Street, Miami, FL 33126 and like the Hialeah campus (built in 2007, located at 2750 W 68th Street, Suite 202, Hialeah, FL 33016) additionally offers diplomas and or Associate of Science degrees. Fields of study include Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, Diagnostic Vascular Sonography, General Radiologic Technology, Massage Therapy and Medical Assistant. Also, the school is now offering a new Practical Nursing program from its Hialeah Campus and will soon be launching a newly redesigned website.

Dade Medical College's Miami Campus recently completed an expansion featuring about 10,000 new square feet of classroom, laboratory, library and office space. The Hialeah Campus augmented in total size to 22,000 square feet, including a new library and cafeteria. Construction is now near completion on a second non-main campus in Homestead, which will house approximately 10,500 square feet and begin enrolling students on or around mid-August. Also, plans are in the works for a 15,000 square foot Hollywood (FL) Campus set to open by spring 2010, which would bring Dade Medical College's total square footage to more than 66,000.

Dade Medical College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education, to which school CEO Ernesto Perez was recently appointed as commissioner by Gov. Charlie Crist. The college is also a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges, where school Perez and COO Dean Bartness serve as Board Members.
