Dade Medical College Hialeah Campus Registered Nurse Program Approved, Miami and Homestead Campus Practical Nursing Programs Expand
Dade Medical College's expanding School of Nursing received a significant boost last week, as the Florida Board of Nursing approved the addition of the Registered Nurse Program at the Hialeah campus.

The board initially approved the creation of a Miami campus Registered Nurse Associate of Science Degree program and the addition of the Practical Nursing program to the Miami and Homestead campuses in October.

"With the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting the creation of nearly 600,000 new registered nursing positions through 2016, we're honored to have the privilege of educating future nurses," says CEO Ernesto Perez. Also of note, Dade Medical College's School of Nursing recently inked a deal to be Westfield Westland Mall's Kid's Play Space sponsor in Hialeah, which grants the school naming and branding rights as well as the opportunity to recruit students from within the mall on a monthly basis. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. and will feature free chair massages for the public.

Founded in 1999, the school currently has three campuses. The main campus is located at 3721-1 NW 7th Street, Miami, FL 33126.
