Global Academy Programme launched for the Microfinance Industry
The Microfinance Association has launched its Global Academy Programme "GAP "that is aimed at Graduates looking to develop a professional career in microfinance and international Development.
LONDON, ENGLAND, February 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Microfinance Association has launched its Global Academy Programme "GAP "that is aimed at Graduates looking to develop a professional career in microfinance and international Development. This is a two-stage programme for graduates that have a 1st degree from a recognised university - Minimum 2nd class upper.
Students enrolled under the global academy programme would undertake the highly rated Distance learning programme on the certification course in microfinance which has been jointly developed by the Microfinance Association and the Marconi University. This is a supervised accelerated programme that has to be completed within three months. On completion of the programme, the students would then have to complete a three month internship programme in a microcredit organisation.
The Microfinance Association is now looking for Global Partners that can provide internship opportunities for students. We are also looking for organisations that can provide scholarships for students especially those from developing economies.
