CALINC Training Announces Partnership with OHSA Training Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District to Expand Environmental Services and OSHA Training Programs
Alliance enables Northern California professionals and students greater access to OSHA and Environmental courses to ensure compliance with all EPA and OSHA requirements.

VACAVILLE, CA, May 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- CALINC Training, the primary source for environmental training and safety courses in Northern California and the training division of CAL INC, California's premier environmental services firm, today announced a new strategic alliance with the OSHA Training Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District.

This partnership will expand the curriculum at both training facilities, providing easier access to a broad spectrum of environmental, construction and safety courses to industry professionals and students across Northern California. The strategic alliance allows the OSHA Training Center to offer CALINC Training environmental training programs at their Dublin location and authorizes CALINC Training to provide OSHA courses to students in the North Bay Area and across Northern California.

"I'm very excited about this collaboration with John Messing and the OSHA Training Center," said David Esparza, president and CEO of CAL INC. "The combined expertise of our organizations supplements our current programs and brings vital OSHA and environmental training courses geographically closer to our respective students."

Under the partnership agreement, CALINC Training will expand its curriculum to include OSHA Standards for Construction; Cal/OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry; Trainer Courses in OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry; Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers; and Excavation, Trenching, and Soil Mechanics.

The OSHA Training Center will add several CALINC Training environmental training programs, including 40-hour HAZWOPER Initial and 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher courses; Cal/OSHA Asbestos Contractor Supervisor Refresher; and an 8-hour EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting certification course that fulfills the new EPA RRP requirement.

Both CAL INC CEO, David Esparza, and manager of the OSHA Training Center, John Messing, anticipate a future strengthening and broadening of the relationship, adding additional cross-training opportunities at both facilities to increasing learning and certification opportunities across Northern California.
