MIAMI, FL, August 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With an increase in the need for quality health-care professionals, Dade Medical College has taken the steps to expand their Nursing program with the opening of their new School of Nursing facility. With the school's construction now complete and students sitting in brand-new classes and labs, Dade Medical College made it official with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new facility today.
On hand to help with the honors were Dade Medical CEO Ernesto Perez along with a host of local dignitaries including Miami Mayor The Honorable Tomas Regalado.
"Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare industry. Without them, there would be no way to meet the healthcare needs of our communities," stated Perez. "Our new state of the art facility will allow us to train and graduate much needed Nurses to meet the growing demand for these frontline heroes in the field of healthcare" he went on to state.
Dade Medical College's Nursing program provides those enrolled with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to function effectively as a professional nurse; to effect positive changes in the healthcare and functioning of their future patients as well as to prepare them to pass the licensing examination (NCLEX) administered by the Florida Board of Nursing.
The new School of Nursing facility is located at 901 NW 39th Ave in the City of Miami Florida.
