George E. Devis Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Fine Arts
George E. Devis is a Successful Painter and Wildlife Protection Expert
TAOS, NM, March 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --George E. Devis, Artist and Owner of Devis Enterprises, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fine arts.
A professional artist for the last 34 years, George E. Devis is best noted for his oil portraits. He has spent most of his career at the helm of his own eponymous art studio, where he paints in oil, acrylic and pastel and designs graphics. Also sought-after as a wildlife protection expert, Mr. Devis previously served as an incident commander for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He continues his involvement in the field by consulting on urban interface protection, assisting with recoveries during local catastrophes, writing grants, and working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Mr. Devis is a trained firefighter and certified teacher. He enjoys teaching art almost as much as he does creating it, and looks forward to increasing his involvement in that capacity. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity in his free time.
