Melissa Alferman Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Melissa Alferman received a master's degree from Fontbonne University
WASHINGTON, MO, April 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Melissa Alferman, Teacher for the Deaf at the St. Clair R-XIII School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
After attending a sign language class, Ms. Alferman was inspired to enter her current profession. With three years of experience in her field, her expertise is in communication. As a teacher for the deaf, she is responsible for managing the auditory training of teachers and pre-teaching students. Ms. Alferman collaborates with teachers and parents in order to accurately assess the needs of her students. She attributes her success to her education and the support she receives from her special education director, Missie Everet.
In 2007, Ms. Alferman received a Master's Degree from Fontbonne University. A member of the Missouri State Teachers Association, she hopes to become more involved with the audiology program in the future.
